Miami, FL was the site of the 42nd Southern Area Conference of the Links, Incorporated, May 8-12, 2013, The theme of the conference was "Effecting Change Through the Power of Friendship and Service".
At the conference, Attorney Eneid A. Francis, Pontchartrain(LA) Chapter, was elected to a second term as Southern Area Director. During her 18 years as a Link, Eneid has provided leadership at the local, Southern Area and National levels, including President and Vice President of the Pontchartrain Chapter, Southern Area Vice Director and Secretary, and service on the national governance and membership committees.
Ms. Francis thanked the conference delegates for confirming their confidence in her leadership, and she pledged to continue the focus of the Southern Area of the Links, Incorporated "in serving our communities through leadership, friendship, and service".
